Being an RBT
What is a RBT?
A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a certified professional who implements behavior analytic interventions under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support individuals with behavioral challenges.
Why are RBTs important?
You will be crucial to families needing ABA services because we provide direct, consistent care and support, helping to address specific behavioral challenges and facilitate progress in their child's development. We provide relief to families who are struggling with challenging behaviors with their loved ones through evidence based strategies and interventions.
Values of an RBT
An effective RBT will demonstrate patience, empathy, consistency, strong communication skills, problem-solving ability, and professionalism to support individuals and their families effectively while maintaining ethical standards.
